Just a brief update on the progress of gas works from Hambro Hill/ Downhall Road to the Weir.

 

Currently they are about 4 weeks behind schedule and do not now expect to complete the Downhall Road section until the end of May. they stated that they will ensure that there is continuous vehicular access at all times to the small store in Downhall Road and the Hungry Horse PH.

 

It will then take until early July to complete the section from Downhall Road to the bottom of London Hill.

 

They then intend to stop work in this area and recommence about 10th July at Love Lane and work down and through the High St during the school summer break period.
