Chelmsford Road closure 22nd to 24th April

Carpenter Arms roundavbout to the A127 junction.

Closure is at night from 9pm to 6am

There is a temporary two night road closure planned for the A1245 starting 9pm, Wed.22nd April, and finishing 6am, Fri 24th April – the road will be open between 6am and 9pm on Thursday. The section to be closed is between the junction with the A129 (Carpenters Arms Roundabout) and the junction with the A127 / Southend Arterial Road.

It will therefore, affect HGVs wanting to reach the industrial estate sited on Rawreth Lane (Macros etc). Traffic will be diverted onto the A130 via the Hawkhill Interchange at Battlesbridge.
